Welcome to .hack, a dA community for fans of the .hack series of anime, manga and video games.

*** UPDATE!!! This community is under new management as of 07/12/2005. ***

As previous visitors to this community may or may not already know; the original owner of this account did not continue working on this project, and passed it on to another deviant. They have since abandoned the project, and now it has passed down to me.

I feel it is a shame to put such an aptly-named account to waste. It was the original owner's idea to create a dA community where .hack fans could meet others with a common interest, and I hope that I can help put this idea to good use now. It is my aim to create a welcoming and creative community for .hack fans here at dA, and I hope you will join me in making this community successful.

It's been a long wait for all of you. But .hack is finally up and running. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Current Events:

At the moment, the club is still recruiting members.

Once there are at least 20 members, the first contest will begin; so spread the word about us!
The first contest will be to design a club avatar.

Also, any links to submissions related to .hack to add to the community favourites database will be greatly appreciated.

To Join:

Membership is open to all - our only requirement is that you are a fan of the .hack series. Also, since the manga and games are all rated Teen (for 13+ years), we do not accept members under the age of 13.

To join, simply send us a note asking us to add you to the members list. Please do not leave comments on the userpage or journal, these will not be answered.

Community Rules:

Please refrain from excessive swearing and/or extremely coarse language, as such language may be inappropriate for our younger members.

Please do link, or ask us to link to submissions of an adult nature. We will not provide links to pornography/hentai, drug-related or material aimed at mature audiences as such material is inappropriate for our younger members.

If you wish us to feature your work in the community favourites gallery, you must provide us with a link to the submission from your own gallery. We do not host submissions within this account except under specific circumstances (such as winning contest entries). Please add original submissions to your favourites, not ones found within this gallery, to ensure the creators get the credit they deserve for their work.

Please follow contest rules when submitting contest entries. Any submissions found to be a direct copy of official/someone else's work will be disqualified. The panel's decision is final, and is not open to debate or change at a later date. The judging panel will include members of community staff and 5 members selected at random to avoid bias. Please submit your entry to your own gallery and provide us with a link to enter. Winning submissions will be uploaded to the club gallery (with full links and credit given to the winning member) with the creator's permission.

Please treat the other members of our community with the respect that you would expect to receive. Abuse will not be tolerated. Any members found engaging in harassment, racist, sexist, homophobic, or other forms of verbal abuse, or plagiarism/copyright theft, will be cautioned and/or removed from the community indefinately with dA staff members also being notified of the offence(s).
